Of course, Billboard was paying special attention to the night’s two music categories: achievement in music written for motion pictures (original song) and achievement in music written for motion pictures (original score).

One winner didn't show up for the 2026 Academy Awards ceremony, a woman won Best Cinematography for the first time, and a single category even ended in a two-winner tie.

One Battle After Another' took home six awards, including best picture and best director. 'Sinners' scooped up four, including best actor for Michael B. Jordan, and 'Frankenstein' nabbed three.
