Eight years ago today, I hiked two thirds of the way up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail. Arriving around sunset and sitting and waiting until around 3am for the Milky Way to rise above the horizon between Half Dome and Glacier Point. Yosemite Falls was was at peak spring flow and even presented a small moonbow from the setting crescent moon. Around 4am, started the trek back down to Camp 4 making a quick stop at Columbia Rock to capture a pano of the Milky Way over the Yosemite Valley. From left
