At the Public Accounts Committee this week I continued my questioning of senior civil servants about some of the steps their department should have taken to make sure their staff could be proven to have acted properly. Even the perception of impropriety can be damaging, when it comes to conflicts of interest. Randox is another company which was awarded massive contracts - £400million - by the UK Government. It was surely worth extra scrutiny, given their large donations to the Tory Party. | Pete
